I lost a filling on the plane and I had to find a dentist in the yellow pages.
They were very nice at Algeria Dental and took good care of me, we also got to see a lot of the city by cab.

Across the street from the dentist, can you find the typo?

Back at SIGGRAPH I saw an amazing bit of technology.  These are force feedback teddybears.  If you move the arm on one, the arm moves on the other bear and visa versa.  As I hold it I can feel the movements of the other bear.  It was very very kewl and a real vision of the things to come about distance tactile communication.
-
Major Damage is finally out and Kellie-Bea told me to watch.  I can't wait to see the fruit of their labors.
-
I don't know who this is but I took her picture because someone else was having trouble with their camera, if they email me I will 1) Post the name and 2) send them the high-res pictures.
-
The origami desk allows you to step by step create origami works and use security type radio tags to track progress, a great idea that will probably spread.
-
Look a CASTLE!!  I am so excited.
-
Look its DOUG! Well its not surprising he is here every year.
-
Afterwards we went to Venice beach and to the Lightwave users group meeting (but the pictures are all film),
