I lost a filling on the plane
and I had to find a dentist in the yellow pages. |
|
| They were very nice at Algeria Dental and took good care of me, we also got to see a lot of the city by cab. | |
| Across the street from the dentist, can you find the typo? | |
| Back at SIGGRAPH I saw an amazing bit of technology. These are force feedback teddybears. If you move the arm on one, the arm moves on the other bear and visa versa. As I hold it I can feel the movements of the other bear. It was very very kewl and a real vision of the things to come about distance tactile communication. | |
| Major Damage is finally out and Kellie-Bea told me to watch. I can't wait to see the fruit of their labors. | |
| I don't know who this is but I took her picture because someone else was having trouble with their camera, if they email me I will 1) Post the name and 2) send them the high-res pictures. | |
| The origami desk allows you to step by step create origami works and use security type radio tags to track progress, a great idea that will probably spread. | |
| Look a CASTLE!! I am so excited. | |
| Look its DOUG! Well its not surprising he is here every year. | |
Afterwards we went to Venice beach and to the Lightwave users group meeting (but
the pictures are all film), |
